Behringer ECM8000 with DBX DriveRack 260
« on: March 19, 2013, 02:05:40 PM »

I recently purchased a 260. Would a Behringer ECM work as well as a DBX mic for simple small venue set up? $50 vs $100 and I'm not looking for perfection, just a quick and dirty ballpark pink noise deal. Thanks.

In this case, the price difference does not indicate a quality difference.  The DBX mic is the exact same thing as Apex 220, which can be had for around $50 as well.  Both mics can be trusted below 5khz.  If you have correction files, they can be trusted up to 12khz or more.
