Mic Splitter - Smallest
« on: February 12, 2013, 08:50:58 PM »

I need to purchase 8 single channel transformer isolated mic splitters, but I want them to be really small to fit in my "personal kit". I'm looking at the Rolls MS20c, but I was wondering if anyone knows of anything smaller?  I guess I wouldn't mind a 4 in 1 design if it saved space.

I carry Whirlwind LBS which is good with line level as well as Mic.

Is 1U small enough?

The Radial requires making cables, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on your specific application.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.  With the exception of the ART splitter, I think the Rolls MS20c is still the smallest choice.  I'd rather not have a "rack" piece however.  It's a little longer than I'd like.  Does anyone make a 4 banger?

look at RAPCO...they also can custom manufacture anything that you want as well. i get a lot of stuff from these guys (i am a retailer of rapco products). they do have a 4ch split, and a 2ch split. i have a 8ch Stereo with Ground Lift switches on them, and a iso outs, its about the size of a 24ch snake head...

im not sure what they are retailing for be i dont' think it is quite this much on the link i showed you..

otherwise here is what you are looking for;

Here's another 1U rack mount 8 channel splitter:

Steve, have you used the ART splitter?  I'm doing a band next month that wants to bring their own IEM setup which uses a couple of the ART splitters and a DL1608 to drive the IEMs.

They work fine Mark. Just be careful you don't hit the pads while patching it and the you have some strain relief for the cables because they don't latch.
