wireless lav hookup info -- GTD Audio
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:40:32 PM »

I have a cheap customer who bought a GTD Audio wireless system. It uses TA3 connectors; he wants to try his Countryman E6 with it (currently with a Shure TA4F cable; I have Senn, EV, Sony, AKG cables lying around). I cannot find anything online re the pinout, etc., and this GTD Audio company is non-responsive.

Anybody know how this POS is hooked up?

(Can you tell I am nonplussed with having to troubleshoot this?)

Ed,

A quick Google search shows that you're probably looking for "GTD" audio.

Unfortunately, there isn't much to go on with their website.  Wish I could help more, sorry.

A bigger problem may be whether the transmitters will support condenser mics with DC (bias).  Sometimes low end products do not.
