Pressure Pin Replacement inside Mic Transmitter
« on: January 07, 2013, 09:48:33 pm »

I managed to break one of the spring pins that makes contact from my Line6 transmitter to the wireless capsule. Any pointers on a replacement piece I can solder in its place?

I can't help, but would like to see a picture of the damage.

Which transmitter model?
How did it happen?

The older Shure transmitters are fixable when the little 9V battery connector breaks or becomes too loose - cannibalize a 9V connector with pigtails from Ratshack and secure with tiny screw/nut. Can you even buy those spring contacts in the L6?

Contact Don Boomer at Line 6.  He'll be able to tell you if those are replaceable or will require a trip back to California.
