OSCARS - Live Sound
« on: February 25, 2013, 12:19:10 AM »

Probably the worst audio I've heard from the Oscars.  Does anyone know why the center channel panning/assigning was so bad?
Sounded like someone was playing with pan knobs and center channel assigns all night long - on the song performances.

Script audio wasn't too bad.

You should fix your display name to your REAL name, as required in the forum rules.

Then, clarify: are you referring to the broadcast mix, or the in-house sound?

My decoding is done by my receiver. The sound was just fine through my Marantz, especially the performances. Your system maybe?
