Alternatives to QSC 6.0II
« on: November 27, 2012, 09:03:02 PM »

Hello All I have some QSC 6.0II powering SB1000Z subwoofers my problem is that now I have come across more subs I am up to 12 and I only have 3 of the 6.0II's. I could wait and try to find some used but that is still a one amp at a time deal and I don't like the prices that they are selling for online as I got my current ones a lot  cheaper. I have a chance to buy enough Camco Vortex 6's to cover all subs and enough Itech 4000's to cover all. Just worrying about headroom with the 4000's but my cabinet number will be up so that will help with the efficiency through cabinet coupling. Any opinions on these two as they are not that different  power wise at 4 ohms a side which is the way my racks are set up now. Or any suggestions to what others are using on 1000Z's. P.S. I can't afford labs right now and my labor can't afford Macrotech 5000's.

QSC's PL380 should fit your application quite nicely.
