Chip, no LABsters showed up that I know of.  Second chance, same system, same place, 3 weeks from Saturday on 3/16/13.  I actually got to hear the system from out front this time.  Sounded good, but the singer had one of those TC Helicon boxes hooked up to his mic the whole time so that he could control his own "palate of effects", and the gain was really touchy and the settings kind of muddy.  The thing shrieked every once in awhile and I didn't really dig it at all, but we got it under control after the 1st set.

Ahhh, Singers with their own stomp boxes, don't you just love it! I think I'll just order a pair and do my own demo-LOL, wish I could get the time to fly out there in March.

I have worked a couple of times with guys with those.  IT ALWAYS SUCKED!  WHY do they think those "sounds" sound good?  Bad is NOT better------------------------------------

Just bypass the stupid thing-but NOOOOOO-it is "their" sound.

The only time I've seen/heard one that didn't suck was Perry Farrell.  The rest?  Varying degrees of hell.

I think Rick is the only owner/reviewer to post here. I too wish to hear more since I am considering the SM80 or another Danley model to match up with my TH118's. Everytime I think to pick up the phone to call Danley for some advise, it's late in the day after buisness hours. There are a few you tubes and a few facebook posts.
