I have referred lots of people to this site, and nearly all have found it very useful, even if their technical expertise is limited (or non-existent). Most do not post, as they found the info they needed just by looking (I sometimes provide a link to a particular thread).
I find it irritating that they sometimes won't believe me unless they see the same advice posted by someone they don't know, but as long as they get the right answer it doesn't really matter.
I agree, Al, this is a great site.

I don't post very often, usually the regular posters beat me to it the few times I have had something to offer but I look at this site every day, have learned TONS, also have learned to separate the wheat from the chaff on many answers, and have even scored a couple gigs from other members. And I enjoy Dick Rees posts by far the most (also bought his mixer!)

Pretty sure he (C&C's monitor guy) used to post on the old forums. Well unless they have made changes, Jeff was the contact info on some paperwork I saw at the shop for a recent show that was done with the band.
