Stolen Gear Alert Kentucky
« on: May 21, 2012, 12:59:28 PM »

Stolen from a storage unit in Kentucky.

4 Void Stasys X  http://voidaudio.com/product_detail.asp?id=76

4 Void Stasys 3  http://voidaudio.com/product_detail.asp?id=81

Please be on the lookout for people with this rig, or asking advice on how to power and tune it.

This is a very unique set of speakers, not going to be easy to get away with.  Big and red.

They left behind the amp rack.

Please contact [email protected] with any information.

Speakers have been found.

Thanks.

Glad you got them back and hope they were not trashed.
Just curious, was anyone apprehended and are they being charged?

It would be nice to start a data bass of offenders of this type. (after it was proven of course)

What's to prove really. You find your hardware in someone elses hands, have them arrested, done deal.

Not always so simple (I found out the hard way). If they took it without your permission, its theft -- a criminal thing. If you handed it to them (ie: rented) and they didn't return it, its breach of contract -- a civil crime. You can't have them arrested, you have to sue them.

OK, I know the difference but the OP said "Stolen from storage.". It can also be a criminal offense if seen by the court as theft by deception. The line is very grey and very thin.

Sorry, I'm not allowed within 500ft of a concert.
