I've been listening to The Road to Escondido following the recent passing of JJ Cale.

Planetary Blues - a (blues, obviously) group out of Chicago. One of the members is family to a friend of mine. I picked up their CD from her on a recent visit, and am loving the guitar work. Makes me wonder how much of that sound my new archtop could make...if someone else were playing it.

Currently listening to my band's CD which has now been pressed after starting on it almost two years ago!

Please note, the word boys is used purely figuratively and imaginatively and does not imply any real youthfulness.

And here is a taster from a rock n roll weekender which I both played at and did some sound engineering for a few days ago.
