DIY Sub for Nexo
« on: November 18, 2010, 11:17:08 PM »

I am looking to build a pair of subs in the $300-500 range (each) to match my Nexo PS10's. Size and weight is a factor. I'd like to keep it under 100lbs.

How about the B&C plans for a single 18" sub.  Should come in well under 100# and $500 a box, including speaker, if you don't get too fancy with the grille, cabinet hardware and cabinet coating.

The B&C 18TBX100, 18PZB100, 18PS100, or 18NW100 could be used.  The NW is the lightest of the 4.  You can buy the speakers, grille and hardware at Parts Express or several other outlets.
