Can anyone please give me some insight on how to seek jobs in this industry? My passion in life is sound. I want to ultimately be a systems designer. I am currently a home theater installer. I've been installing for 2 years now. Before that I was on the sales floor for 4 years. I am also the main engineer at my church. I am very enthusiastic about sound. I am very sharp, quick to learn and attentive to detail. I would love to learn how to integrate/design systems on a large scale. Does anybody know/work for any companies around the orange county or LA county areas in southern california?

I don't know of any contractors in southern CA.

You should take a SynAudCon workshop and subscribe to their Tech Topics and listserv.  By becoming a member you may find a contractor who would hire you.  They often post job listings.
