Hi,
I've been using a BSS Soundweb very successfully.
Mine has 8 AES ins and outs. On top of normal matrix duties it also has all the dsp you ever need for a festival situation. I usually create different macros to easily switch between consoles.

We have had great experience using an Avid SC48 with a IO16 Option Card.

We use the Electro-Voice Net Max for this purpose.  Input and output card configurations are customizable upon ordering the unit.

Programming is open architecture so you can set the unit up to do whatever you need, whether that be speaker control.
