My wife (who has a Master's in Mechanical Engineering) said +1 to this one.  Laughing

Ok I get it !

I'm glad it's not just me that's having trouble.

The assembly instructions are quite clear and easy to follow - but I guess they designed this plug ONLY to be assembled and never dis-assembled !

Thanks guys,

andrew

In a pinch I had to re-use these ends (on location at a wedding, speaker needed to be moved further away. I had to make a longer cable without any new parts.) I remember poking at it with a mini screwdriver and eventually getting it a apart. But, for the price... you might as well do what everyone else recommends.

I don't have too much trouble with them.  Once you've taken a few apart you know that you have to have the right tools before you start.  What I do like is that they indicate pretty clearly that it's a cable that only has 2 wires in it.  When you see that gray ring you know that you have to keep looking for another cable   Very Happy

Try the easy way! Step 1: Cut off NL2  Step 2: Install NL4  Problem solved. $4 will eliminate a big headache.

+ infinity!

The NL2 stands in stark contrast to many of Neutrik's amazing product offerings.  You'd think it was a knock-off!
