Factory flypoints on Community XLT500?
« on: December 24, 2009, 01:46:15 PM »

Hi all, hope your holidays are going well!

As I wrapped up my project of replacing the rat fur on my Community XLT-500s with Duraliner, I noticed two anchors embedded into the wood on either side, about midway between the top of the handle and the top edge of the cabinet.

Is anybody familiar with this model? Just for the sake of curiosity (I dont have anything to fly these from or any gigs requiring it), I'd like to know if this is a factory flypoint, or is the previous owner took a little creative liberty with the design.

Thanks so much,
--Seth

Mounting / Rigging Provisions:
(3) 5/16-18 wall/ceiling bracket attachment points
(3) 5/16-18 threaded inserts
(1) 1-3/8 in. metal stand socket

The XLT500 is a versatile 2-way, full-range bass reflex loudspeaker
system engineered for multiple uses in club and performance
public address. Availability of both captive rigging
points and a stand adapter allows this system to be used effectively in both portable and installed situations.
