Marketplace a good way to meet labsters
« on: August 23, 2009, 10:30:47 AM »

Recently I went through a boardectomy, where I replaced my LX7ii with a GB8.

I found a GB8 in the marketplace, and drove to MI to retrieve it.
Then, a labster in Ohio found my mixer in the marketplace, and decided to drive here to get it.

I guess no one trust UPS with mixers.
I wouldn't.

Nice to meet ya Casey, and Dan.

PS ...Dan and his GF caught me in my jammies, before my shower, before a show. How embarassin'  Embarassed

Man ...
Friday I loaded in ...in the rain at home of the glass walls, tile floors bar from hell.  We decided to do a truck that night, since there was no room for the mixer ...I stood all night in a 6X12 trailer, in the rain, mixing on phones, and checking the house every two or three tunes.  I made it through the night without erupting the PA unto unsuspecting dancers, and got some decent cuts for the band to boot.
Now I've got an ugly load out, since the 'truck' needed to be emptied to make it the 'trailer'  Very Happy
So, I'm home about 4:30, then three hours of no sleep since I was still in work mode.  Dan woke me up, I had to leave about one to go do "Pork Fest".  At least he didn't catch me eating my wheaties.
...Hey, I don't make this shit up.
