Stopped to check out a state park fishing hole and ran into this beauty.

Is that CAT5 wire and a data jack that the speaker that's duct taped to the tree is plugged into? Shocked Musta been some computer geek.

It is environmentally friendly, the tree was not harmed and nothing seems permanently attached to it.  Smile

Yes,
That's a data punch down with an RCA connector. The tape is environmentally friendly, but whacking off 3 branches to loop the wire around is probably not. This is about 50ft from the park rangers shack and aerial loops to another tree for the same.
