another mac and audiocore question
« on: July 08, 2009, 06:02:40 PM »

i have a mac book and i am having trouble with wireless controlling an xta 226 with  it.i am trying to control the xta via the "new" walkabout kit.

i am using parallels with windows xp

i can find the network,i am  able connect to it but the audiocore software cant seem to log in.

is there anything i should configure in the tcp/ip section?

i couldn't  seem to find any other post on this subject in the search (only on rs232/485 stuff)

thanks in advance

So you have installed the Netgear driver software and the Netgear PCMCIA card is working on its own without the wiser connected?

When you scan for networks with the netgear software, and with the wiser plugged into your XTA DP226, do you see the "XTA WISP" network?

Is the Netgear PCMCIA card assigned 192.168.xxx.xxx? (not ending with 224.226)

within Audiocore and in the remote menu, are your TCP/IP settings 192.168.224.226 ?

Cheers
Martin
