Hi All!

I am a new LAB/Pi Sub owner, and I am curious as to how much would be reasonable as a rental fee for these units per night.

If you are uncomfortable saying through the forum, please give me a PM!

Even a fee for something equivalent would be fine, but is there really something equivalent? =)

Eric,

Are you talking about delivered, set up, and hauled back, or a dry rental?
With amps and processing, or just “here’s the speakers, blow them up with your own amps”?
How many LAB/Pi speakers?

Rental fees are market dependent, so even with answers to the above, “it depends”.

I’d suggest calling up a local rental firm and finding what they charge for something similar in output to what you have, then since you have something with no name recognition, start out below that and if you are able to build some rep, raise your rates.

So all you are renting is subs?  Is there much of a market for that.  What about the rest of the system-full range boxes-power distro and so forth?  Who provides that?

What is your time worth?  Are you planning on moving them yourself-or do you have to pay somebody to help you?

What about your transportation expenses.

In most cases a rental provider provides a service-no so much particular equipment-untill you get to the higher levels of the rental tree.

I'll tell you ROUGHLY what i can get. Between $50-100 a box. Usually on the lower side because i try and upsell lots of stuff. Lower Margain, but more money

FWIW I'd suggest that you itemize your pricing, with price per box rental, and separate pricing for labor and transpo depending on the location and amount of setup work involved.
