Are you sure you have that model number correct?

Do the speakers themselves have a marking on them? A photo would be helpful.

You probably won't get much more low end out of the speakers than the cabinets they are loaded in, even if you do find the TS parameters.

hi! thanx for the reply! the model number is correct,, but here are some pics... the woofers look like the picture (except that the frame is black, and no markings on the back (maybe a faint "OEM", and something illegible .  I'm guessing they're late 80's, early nineties?  the cabinets are pretty weird, they are only bout 9" deep, (on the inside) and 29"x32 on the face...

I have one of those drivers from the portable version of that box. It's an OEM of the EVM-15L I believe. Probably not the more rugged evx-150 It has a 2" voice coil and short travel suspension. I tried it as a sub some time ago and it wasn't very good. You would be better off sticking it in some vintage short horn design as a midbass or rebuilding the boxes you have now to be more portable:

And then maybe get some DL18x's and the reccomended EV sub box and make yourself a radtastic vintage PA.

Have fun, good luck.

Sell them on ebay as EVM-15L,  there is a demand for that one (guitar/bass applications) and then use the proceeds for a decent set of sub drivers

Those EV 15's were good sounding drivers for 2-way applications with excellent sensitivity and midrange response.  However sub-bass it just won't do.

Use them in a mid/high box on a front-loaded horn and I remember they worked great also (again only mid-bass, but loud)
